Propper ACU uniforms are built to military specifications (MIL-44436) with vat-dyed 50% Nylon / 50% Cotton ripstop fabric.
The ACU Trouser features a leg cuff with front closure tie, which allows for more comfortable closure on the outside of the boot collar.
Also features knee pouches with hook & loop closures for internal kneepad inserts, buttonfly with a drawstring, bellowed-calf storage pocket, and forward-tilted cargo pocket

X-Small - Waist 23-27 inches
Small - Waist 27-31 inches
Medium - Waist 31-35 inches
Large - Waist 35-39 inches
X-Large - Waist 39-43 inches
2X-Large - Waist 43-47 inches
Regular Inseams are for up to 32 inch inseams, Longs for 34 inch inseams and longer
What is NIR Technology?
Near Infrared (NIR) Signature Management Technology is used by the U.S. Department of Defense to prevent detection by NIR Image Converters. These photocathode devices do not detect temperatures, but rather infrared radiation variances. NIR-compliant uniforms use a special fabric that allows soldiers to appear at the same radiation level as the surrounding terrain, thus making them more difficult to detect. NIR technology also make uniforms less visible in low-light environments by reducing the reflection of light.
To ensure that our military personnel avoid any danger connected to the use of uniforms, Propper has clearly labeled products on this website that are approved for military operations. Similarly, products based on military uniform designs (such as the ACU) without NIR technology are also labeled to prevent any error in purchasing.
