Shipping and Returns
We strive to process orders within 24 hours of receipt. It is the policy of Arvada Army Navy Surplus to not charge your credit card until the order ships; however, an authorization hold may be placed on your card to guarantee funds. This hold typically lasts 2-3 days, or until the order is shipped or canceled. Based on your shipping method, orders will ship via UPS or Postal Service. Any orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska or APO/FPO will be shipped via Priority Mail. While we try very hard to keep our inventory numbers accurate, there may be an exception where we do not have an item in stock. Arvada Surplus will contact you personally via email or phone to alert you to this, what the ETA would be, and check on how to proceed with your order (backorder, different item or cancel).
If for any reason you need to return an item, please check the 3 criteria below:
1. CONDITION: Is your merchandise still in original, brand new condition, unwashed, showing no signs of wear and use of any kind? Clothing must still have the tags attached unless defective (see below). Used items are exempted from this condition, please contact us for return authorization. ____ YES ____NO
2. RECENCY: Was your merchandise delivered less than 30 days ago? ___YES ___NO
3. COMPLETENESS: Have you enclosed all the original tags, packaging etc., and a copy of your packing slip/invoice, with instructions on exchanging or crediting the item to your credit card? ___YES ___NO
If you answered NO to any of the above questions, please do NOT attempt to return your item without prior authorization, as we will not be able to process your return, nor be able to ship the item back to you.

Generally, you are responsible for any shipping costs incurred to send items back to us. If you received an incorrect item, or believe your item to be defective, please contact us to arrange for return shipping. We do not expect defective items to be in original condition.
